April26, 1926-July 16, 2011
A memorial service for
Edwin Lawrence Terriere, of
Willamina, who died July 16,
will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday,
Aug. 7, at the VFW Hall in
Willamina.

Feb. 27, 1933-July 29, 2011
Kathleen Elizabeth Aaron
Gramlich passed away July 29,
2011 at her home in Keizer,
Ore.
Kathleen was born Feb.
27, 1933 in Russell Springs,
Kentucky to George Howard
Aaron and Ruth McQueary
Aaron. The family moved
from Kentucky to Sheridan,
Oregon in 1938 where
Kathleen attended school. Af-
ter graduation, she worked at
Oregon Mutual and as an of-
ricer with US Bank.
On Sept. 25, 1954 she mar-
fled Francis (Frank) Gramlich
and they were blessed with
four sons: David, Jeffrey,
Steven and Christopher.
Kathleen had three daughters-
in-law, Yvette, Sheila and
Elaine; three grandsons, Israel,
Gabriel, and William; and one
granddaughter, Parker Jane.
Kathleen's family meant the
world to her.
Kathleen lived her life to
the fullest doing the things she
loved; spending time with her
family, traveling, gardening,
shopping, reading, was a tal-
ented artist and having birth-
day sleep overs with her sis-
ters.
In her battle with cancer,
she was always more con-
cerned about her family's pain
than she was of her own. Her
quiet strength, dignity, humor,
grace and love of life was an
inspiration to all those around
her.
Kathleen was preceded in
death by her husband Frank,
her sister Helen Satch,ql and
parents George and Ruth
Aaron. She is survivedby her
sons, David Gramlch of
Keizer, Jeffrey Gramlih and
his wife Yvette Tallertire of
Sellwood, Steve Gramlich
and his wife Sheila of Salem,
Christopher Gramlich and
wife Elaine of Salem; grand-
children Israel, Gbriel,
Parker Jane and Willian; sis-
ters, Jewell Miller, leanie
Hall, Diane and husband Fred
Ackom all of Keizer; broth-
ers, John Aaron and wife Judy
of Heppner, Ore. and James
Aaron and wife Susan of
Aloha, Ore.; step grandchild
James;and other family and
friends.
Viewing/visitation will be
from 12- 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug.
4, at Keizer Funeral Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial will
be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday,
Aug. 5, at St. Josephs Catholic
Church in Salem. Graveside
services will be held at 10:30
a.m. Monday, Aug. 8. Keizer
Funeral Chapel is in charge of
arrangements.

Dorothy Mae
(Crouch) McEIroy
July 17, 1916--July 30, 2011
Dorothy Mae (Crouch)
McElroy, 95, of Sheridan, died
July 30.
Dorothy was born to
Marion and Alta Crouch on a
farm in Hartford, Kan. on July
17, 1916 and was one of
eleven children. Following
her marriage to Jessie Chester
McElroy they settled in the
Carlton/Dallas area where they
raised their four children:
Darlene, Virginia, Shirley and
Larry.
Dorothy worked many
years at the Salem Cannery. She
worked side by side with her
husband in building their new
home in Dallas, prior to mov-
ing to Waldport. While in
Waldport, she worked as a cook
for a local restaurant. Her hob-
bies included gardening, can-
ning, sewing, quilting, crochet-
ing, cooking, baking, and she
especially enjoyed caring for
her roses, playing Bingo and
Skip-Bo.
Dorothy has made her home
in Sheridan for the past 30 years
where she has made many
friends. Dorothy will be re-
membered for all the delicious
pies she made as well as the
many afghans that she cro-
cheted.
She was preceded in death
by her parents, Marion and
Alta Crouch; two brothers, Bill
Crouch and Albert (Shorty)
Crouch; three sisters, Bertha
Halstead, Laura Kellum and
Edna Crouch; her husband
Jessie McElroy in 1981; her
son, Larry McElroy in 1985;
her daughter, Shirley Adams in
1996; and her great-grand-
daughter, Melissa Wheeler in
1971.
Dorothy is survived by two
daughters and their spouses,
Darlene and Ron Wiebe and
Virginia and Bob Bowman, all
of Sheridan; 15 grandchildren,
numerous great-grandchil-
dren, plus many nieces and
nephews.
Graveside Services with
Vault Interment will be at 11
a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, at
Restlawn Memory Gardens,
West Salem.
Memorial Contributions
may be made to Hospice c/o

OR 97378.
