All of Wfllamina's freshmen played in the Amity game, but the Bulldogs led all the way, scor- ing six rum in the fourth inning. The first two Bulldog runs came in the second. Marissa Mode reached first base on an error and scored on a triple by Karl Steere. Ashlyn Strouse singled Steers home. In the fourth, Jill Coblentz doubled and scored on a single by Mode. Steers' singled, and a sacrifice bunt by Strouse brought Mode home. Grant singled Steere home. Shenk reached first on an error that al- lowed Grant to score. Stephanie Delker reached first on another error, with Shenk scoring. Tony singled to drive in Delker. In the seventh, Coblentz walked and scored on an error that put Steere on base. Grant singled Steers home, and Shenk tripled Grant home. Shenk pitched four scoreless innings. Coblentz pitched the re- maining three and gave up only one earned run. A non-league game sched- uled for today at Harrisburg was canceled. The Bulldogs will play at Sheridan today and face Amity at home Friday.
