Wednesday, August 8, 20!2, The Sun 3 Willamina to hold hearing on housing Residents of Willamina will have the opportunity to voice their views and concerns about commu- nity development and housing needs at a public hearing regarding a Com- munity Development Block Grant for a Water Master Plan Update. Of special interest are the housing needs of low and moderate income persons. The hearing will be held at 7 p.m. on Aug. 9, at the beginning of the city coun- cil meeting. It will be held at City Hall, 411 N.E. C St. Also included on the agenda for the meeting is a request for the council to approve a merchant service provider that would allow the city to accept debit and credit card payments. The council will also discuss a lease agreement with the railroad and a fran- chise extension. Michael Elsberry will be on hand to review a pro- posal from A & E Security and Electronic Solutions to place a radio cell at the Wa- ter Treatment Plant in ex- change for providing a free security system and moni- toring of the Sixth Street Pump.
