8 The Sun, Wednesday, June 21,198g Public notices NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, June 29, 1989, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. in the Sheridan Library Conference Room, a Public Hearing will be held by the Sheridan City Council, at which time registered voters and other interested persons may appear and be heard on the question of concurrent Zoning determination and Annexation to the City of Sheridan, Oregon, of the area and territory described below: A tract of land in the Charles B. Graves Donation Land Claim in township 5 South Range 6 West and Township 6 South Range 6 West of the Willamette Meridian, Yamhill County, Oregon, being part of that certain tract of land conveyed to the City of Sheridan by deed recorded in Film Volume 89, Page 248 of the Yamhill County Deed Records and being more particulary described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron rod in the East line of County Market Road No. 24 that is North 01 degree 00 minutes East, 99.84 feet from the South line of said City of Sheridan tract; thence North 01 degree 00 minutes East along the east line of said County Road, 336.00 feet to an iron rod; thence North 49 degrees 26 minutes East along the Southerly line of said survey, 944.49 feet to an iron rod; thence North 74 degrees 16 minutes East 217.83 feet to an iron rod; thence South 20 degrees 6 minutes East 224.80 feet to an iron rod; thence South 52 degrees 45 minutes West 285.48 feet to an iron rod; thence South 47 degrees 21 minutes West 633.46 feet to an iron rod; thence South 50 degrees 56 minutes West 176.78 feet to an iron rod; thence Southwesterly 200.77 feet along the arc of a 415.28 foot radius curve right through a central angle of 27 degrees 42 minutes (Chord bears South 64 degrees 47 minutes West, 198.82 feet to the point of beginning). The above parcel being the same tract conveyed to Robert E. Dasher and D. Jean Dasher by deed recorded May 14, 1976 in Film Volume 112, Page 563, Yamhill County Records, and subsequently conveyed to the United States of America and its assigns for use by the Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons, by deed recorded on May 15, 1987 in Film Volume 213, Page 616, Yamhiil County Records. Concurrent with annexation of the area described above, the Yamhill County land use designation of Future Urbanizable is proposed to be designated and zoned as Public Facility (PF) in the City's Compre- hensive Plan to allow use of the site as a proposed Training Center in support of operations of FCI Sheridan. All registered voters and other interested citizens are invited to appear and be heard upon such annexation and zoning, as proposed. Copies of the applications and related information are available for public inspection at City Hall during regular business hours. SECOND NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING A public hearing on a proposed budget for City of Willamina, Yamhill/Polk Counties, State of Oregon, for the fiscal year July 1, 1989 to June 30, 1990 will be held at Wiilamina City Hall. The hearing will take place on the 29th day of June, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the budget with interested persons. The first Notice of Budget Hearing and Financial Summary was published in The Sun on June 14, 1989. State Revenue Sharing funds actually received may be used for general purposes, as provided by ORS 221.770(1 ). Interested citizens are invited to attend and be heard at this Public Hearing.
