Ashwell, Colton to wed administrator by Evergreen Interna- tional Airlines. Colton is the son of Douglas Colton of Willamina and Jackie Whisler of Lincoln City. A 1988 graduate of Willamina High School, he is employed by Skyline Mobile Homes. A wedding in the Sheridan United Methodist Church is planned for June 29. Daphne De'Ann Ashwell and Michael Collin Colton, both of Sheridan, have announced their engagement. Ashwell is the daughter of Shirley Currier of Sheridan. She is a 1987 graduate of Willamina High School and currently attends Chemeketa Community College. She is employed as technical publications GE. HOTPOINT. GIBSON ZENITH Prison Ministry Taskforce meets The Prison Ministry Taskforce will meet Thursday, June 20, at 7 p.m. The purpose of the study group is to eventually develop a hospitality house for families visiting inmates of the Federal Correction Institu- tion. Some information from similar houses in prison communities around the country will be shared. Everyone interested is welcome to come. The meeting will be held at the Sheridan Publi c Library. The festivities began with enter- tainment provided by the Sheri- tones, Lois Fletcher and Francis George. Then came the introduction of the court followed by a reception. Being crowned this year were Princess Bessie Wirfs, Princess Mary Fletcher and Queen Valora h'win. Every Shade Under The Sun Now On Sale! Each member of the coun was escorted by one of three crown bearers, Michael Adamson, Steven Cooley and Nicholas Funk, intro- duced to Mayor Val Adamson who had the honor of presenting each member of the court with her crown. Also in attendance were members of this years Junior Court, Shenoa Payne, Kelsi Pelzer, Rachael Shep- hard, Brett Brower and Nichole Hutchinson.
